I’ve been told that you hike until you can bike, so it seems natural transition from long-distance hiking to bikepacking. Originally from Chicago, I fell in love with the desert after hiking the Continental Divide, Arizona, and Hayduke Trails and began exploring the region further by bike and boat. Though I’ve enjoyed underbiking through sand and slick rock on my Sutra LTD, I’m excited to try another Kona rig that can fit more gear and take me further into the backcountry.
