Gretchen Leggitt

I have been drawn to bike touring for well over two decades, enamored with the unparalleled freedoms and deep sense of adventure that the open road has to offer. As a Bellingham-based, professional artist, my work’s flexibility provides me the time and space to dive deep into bike tours, which have taken me across 7 continents. My kit always contains my faithful companions- art making supplies and climbing gear. On every tour, I savor opportunities to explore new climbing zones from the granite walls of the Alps to Laos’ limestone karsts, in addition to finding spontaneous moments of creative inspiration. My goal as a Kona ambassador is to create in-depth vignettes of my rock and road expeditions translated through my pen and paintbrush.
