Animator, illustrator and community arts worker and full-time dad, living in Peebles in the Scottish Borders.
I started mountain biking in the glory days of the early 90’s and haven’t stopped since, well apart from the odd lie-down and dog walk. I like riding hard and fast just for the sheer love of it; a mountain bike racer that’s not always that keen on racing. The instant flip to childhood that bike riding provides is also very addictive.
I am super excited to be a Kona ambassador for 2020. As well as inspiration to ride and race more, I look forward to having the opportunity to bring my art and bike riding together. I also really want to create some community arts pieces based around cycling. I have spent most of my working life inspiring young people and adults through animation and art to feel better about themselves and have a more positive outlook on life; I would like to pass on a little of my enthusiasm for the sport and the bicycle as a form of escapism.
