Montanus

Ciao! Our names are Francesco D’Alessio and Giorgio Frattale from Abruzzo, Italy. We’re graphic designers, Italian food lovers, bicycle and outdoor enthusiasts, and not the least, two old friends. The project Montanus (from classical Latin ‘montane’) came up some years ago, when the need to explore was combined with our avocations in photography, filming and drawing. This gave us the possibility to take bikepacking trips in remote and wild places documenting the astonishing beauty of planet Earth. As Kona ambassadors we embark on a creative and intimate journey to inspire people to explore more and realize the environment in which we live is part of us and we’re part of it.
